Lots of you have asked how you can pray for us, specifically. We hope this page will help in answering that question, as we will be posting a few specific prayer needs here (see below) on a regular basis. That way, you have an opportunity to join us in praying over these specific requests.
If you would like to participate, please fill in the following form with your name, email address, and the day on which you commit to pray for Child Evangelism Fellowship of the Greater Pee Dee. This will serve as an enormous encouragement to us, knowing that others are joining us in prayer.

Our Most Urgent Prayer Requests At This Time:
That all of our Good News Clubs start (and finish) strong for this 2011-2012 school year.
That more churches will join in reaching children in our elementary schools.
For all the staff, board members, and volunteers working with CEF here in SC and across the nation.
For God to work in preparing the right people to serve as summer missionaries for the 2012 summer.
For the local directors in wisdom, leadership, and balance, as they devote themselves to the work of the ministry. Pray for each staff person who are invaluable aides to the directors and to the volunteers. Pray for their strength, endurance, and faith. Pray for the volunteers who servc hand-in-hand with the staff to reach our state's children with the Gospel. Pray for continued and/or renewed passion for their calling. Pray for balance in life as they juggle their schedules to serve the children.
Pray for our developing areas of Lancaster; Florence; Greenwood; Beaufort; Charleston; and Myrtle Beach. Pray for continued building of strong committee leadership and qualified staff to lead their area churches in bold proclamation of the Gospel to children.
Pray for our established areas of Greenville; Spartanburg; Columbia, and Orangeburg. Pray for sustained empowerment and provisions for committee, staff, and volunteers to continue evangelizing and discipling children in their areas. Pray for wisdom in using their expertise and experience in aiding our developing areas to continue to grow without "re-creating the wheel".
Pray for our last local area in need of a CEF chapter: Sumter. Pray for interest in the community to gain a local committee and finances to begin the work with a staff member. Pray for a passion for the souls of the children in that area.
Pray for SC's newly adopted overseas area: Turks/Cacaos Islands. Pray for the wisdom and finances to continue contact and interaction to fuel further developments in creating a chapter. Pray for the church leadership in the Isles to have a strong commitment to the proclamation of the Gospel to their children.
Pray for Richard, for continued wisdom and direction as he leads the South Carolina work. Pray for his work with USA in the development of the board/committee training being recognized throughout the ministry as the next step toward growth. Pray for sustained health for the work ahead.
Pray for Lee, as he assists Richard with the state work and the USA board/committee development. Pray for sustained health.
Pray for Debbie as she works tirelessly to assure all areas have their workers background checks approved for service in the ministry and protection for the children we serve. Pray for sustained health.
Pray for our State Board members: Paul Holcomb; Marion Davis; Dan Avant; George Williamson; Larry Stokes; Bill Connor; John Fastnau; and Tony Sinclair. Pray for the wisdom to lead and the influence to engage others into the calling of this work. Pray for additional members to join the State Board and adequate finances to sustain the growth of the work across the state.
Pray for our new interns and coordinators throughout the state as they learn the ministry work of CEF. Pray for wisdom as they serve. Pray for balance in their lives as they work in the ministry.
Pray for the annual CYIA training school held in June. Pray for the wisdom to organize in the most meaningful and effective way for students to be impacted and prepared to serve. Pray for discernment for chapel speaker and band that can have the greatest spiritual influence toward a sustained Godly lifestyle and mission. Pray for those at CIU who work to make our school logistically successful.
Pray for the school administrators who work with our ministry to allow facilitation in the public schools to provide the ASGNCs.
Pray for the children and their families throughout the state who desperately need Jesus. Pray for those children and families who have been affected by the ASGNCs and need continued support and discipleship from churches.
Pray for every believer in our state to gain the heart of Jesus for the children and apply their hands, heads, feet, and finances toward the goal that "not one of these little ones should perish".
